Class 1: 244-Hour Program
Driver Training - Full Time (244 Hours)
For those applicants seeking a Class 1 Full Stage licence. Applicants will be trained on a 13-speed manual transmission tractor trailer combination unit. Our 244-hour course has an optimum mix of theory and practical training. After completion of this course, students will possess the skills necessary to obtain entry-level employment as professional Class 1 drivers.

- Minimum 18 years of age
- Manitoba Class 5 Full Stage Licence
- Valid M.P.I. Medical submitted to M.P.I.
- Class 1 Authorized Instruction Permit
- Air Brake Learners Permit
Six weeks of training includes the following:
- 80 hours of classroom theory
- 80 hours of practical training
- 80 hours of observation
- 4 hours M.P.I. road test evaluations*
- Per applicant: $9,000.00

- Tuition Fees: $8,375.00
- Books & Supplies: $308.12
- Completion Fund: $41.88
- Two M.P.I. road test attempts are included with the course which are made up of Phase 1 or Phase 2.

- If you withdraw or if your enrolment is terminated by your instution, you may be entitled to a tuition refund based on Manitoba Private Vocational Institute Regulations Sec 26 to 32.
