Provencher Blvd. Will Remain Truck Route

In a report released by the City of Winnipeg in January, the city has concluded that Provencher Blvd. will remain a designated truck route.The report concludes that Provencher Blvd. is an ideal and significant regional street for truck route designation. Delisting the truck route would not result in any benefits to the St. Boniface area and surrounding streets. On the contrary, it would likely cause an increase in traffic on Goulet and Marion and on the Main and Norwood Bridges.
